Kate Morgan

Friends Chair

I joined as Chair of the Friends in May 2016 because I wanted to be a part of this school’s great community, and raise funds to help the children. I have Thomas in Year 1 and work full time running my own creative and marketing consultancy so like everyone else, life is busy. The Friends Association is incredibly welcoming, with a ‘get stuck in’ attitude so even if you can only spare a small amount of time, it’s worth it.

Friends are the PTA for our school, as a parent you are automatically a friend of the school. All parents are welcome to attend committee meetings and become committee members.

We meet on a monthly basis and our aim as a committee is to work hand in hand with the school to create and provide a great environment for our children to learn in. Our main aims are:-
* To raise funds for the purchase of equipment which will enhance our children’s educational and social needs.
* To organise social events to maintain the warm ambiance at the school.

We as a committee would not be able to do any of this without your support as all of the work is carried out on a voluntary basis. In the last year we as friends have managed to raise a huge amount of money to help with the refurbishment of our Infant playgrounds and with various other pieces of equipment.
